The collection began in 2004 when I was a highschool student and took a coke can from the dispender. Looking at the can, I saw a vintage picture of a jukebox on it. I also had a passion for jukeboxes, so I kept the can.
The day after, I went back to the dispender, bought again a coke can and saw another picture on it, a vintage picture of a blond woman with a coke can, later a 3rd vintage picture of another woman.
That is how the collection started with 3 cans, then grew by collecting coke glasses, specific the action of coke glasses in different colours with McDonalds, later trays, mirrors, a.s.o.... Until now the collection has grown to 1200 pieces with unique items, so I had to transform my attic to a "mini coke-museum / man-cave".
Of course I can not call myself a "collector" and compete with other collectors but you have to start somewhere.
Until now I didn't specialise in one sort of item, but I did decide to search for more selective. My interest goes especially to aluminium bottles due to their design, but also because I am a designer myself.
